About Us

We’re an independent, modern British restaurant in the heart of Central London, celebrating the very best seasonal British produce, exceptional hospitality, and a warm, contemporary dining experience. With a loyal local following and an international clientele, we’re looking for an inspiring General Manager to lead our team and continue driving the business forward.

The Role

As General Manager, you’ll take full ownership of the restaurant’s day-to-day operations, leading from the floor and setting the standard for service excellence. You’ll work closely with the Head Chef and ownership team to deliver outstanding guest experiences while driving commercial performance.

We’re looking for a hands-on leader who thrives in a busy, quality-led environment and is passionate about developing people, building culture, and creating memorable hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, inspire and develop a high-performing front-of-house management team.
• Deliver exceptional guest experiences through visible, hands-on leadership.
• Take ownership of financial performance, including P&L, labour, GP and payroll.
• Recruit, train and retain outstanding hospitality professionals.
• Work collaboratively with the Head Chef to ensure seamless service.
• Maintain exceptional standards across service, cleanliness and compliance.
• Drive sales through events, local marketing and repeat business.
• Build strong relationships with regular guests and the local community.

About You

• Proven experience as a General Manager within a premium, quality-led restaurant.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience managing budgets and KPIs.
• Passion for modern British food, wine and genuine hospitality.
• A natural leader who coaches, mentors and develops teams.
• Calm under pressure with excellent organisational skills.
• Hands-on, energetic and committed to leading from the floor.
• Strong understanding of health & safety and licensing compliance.
